Maleshevia Region posses a huge tourist potential that hasn’t been used up yet, eventhough in the last couple of years we have noticed a big rise in its own sector.
Visitors in Berovo and the surrounding tourist areas stay for the weekend especially for the New Year holidays, Easter and for the 1st of May, but during the summer period they stay for about four to seven days.
Most of the tourists are domestic, but in the last two years the number of foreign tourists has increased (predominately foreigners on a mission in Macedonia).
Visitors show a huge interests of the clear air, the peaceful and quiet surroundings, and the possibility for rest and relaxation, also including long walks in the mountain but they also come in Berovo for health reasons.
